Eligibility Requirements

GTU

Regular Member
Initiates must meet the following requirements:
  1. have completed a minimum of 3 geography courses
  2. have a B average in geography
  3. have a 3.0 average GPA overall
  4. have completed at least 3 semesters of college course work.
  5. attend at least 2 general membership meetings and 2 service projects each semester

Honorary Member
     A chapter may extend honorary membership to anyone whom it feels has, by exploration, research, lecturing, publishing, teaching, or any other way, contributed to marked advancement in any phase of Geography.  The fees for Honorary membership are paid by the local chapter.

Fees:
$30 one-time fee ($25 to national GTU chapter, $5 to Univ. of Utah chapter)
