TM: Summer/Winter scene late 1980s/early 1990s

Area Description: West edge of the scene is Lake District National Park, East side of the scene is the Pennines Mountains, River Kent flows through the middle

Image Description: Georectified, no atmospheric corrections, striping is present

Suggestions: Noticeable vegetation difference between the seasons, winter image shows lots of geomorphology not interpretable in the summer image

*** Great Data Source for Utah ETM+ and ASTER Data:

Utah State University has an awesome online data archive for ETM+ data.  You can download data for basically the entire states of Utah, Arizona, Nevada, Colorado, New Mexico.  The website is http://earth.gis.usu.edu/

****** Global coverage of MSS (1970’s), TM (1990’s) and ETM+ (2000’s)

Arizona State also has a good archive of images for free.  The website is http://aria.arizona.edu/

Possible Websites to Request Data From:
